Petition to the IAPMO Board of Directors

    Two petitions to the IAPMO Board of Directors have been timely filed with the Petitions Clerk which relates to the issuance of the 2027 edition of the Uniform Mechanical Code. Hearings for these petitions will be held with a subcommittee of the Board of Directors on January 20, 2026. Interested parties may attend the hearing or submit a written response in support or opposition to the petitions. Written responses should be submitted no later than January 13, 2026, and in accordance with Section 7-2 of the IAPMO Regulations Governing Petitions to the Board of Directors from Decisions of the Standards Council. If an interested party intends to participate in the hearing, s/he should notify Hugo Aguilar by January 9, 2026. Take note that these hearings are in person only; there will be no virtual attendance option.
